To lure them back, Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key, islands off Florida between Sarasota and Tampa, and the Bradenton area on the mainland are offering free nights at 17 properties through October with some extending the deal into winter. Accommodation ranges from hotels and boutique mini resorts, to condominiums and luxury vacation rentals. Heron's Landing and Sand Cay Beach Resort are offering a third night free.
